Michael is a mental health counselor who works primarily with individual adults and adolescents.
His therapeutic approach is person-centered and individual while incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. He is particularly interested in offering spiritually integrated care when desired, especially for individuals from a Christian background as he is able to draw upon his training and experience in theology and lay ministry.

His clinical focus is the treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, scrupulosity, major life adjustments, grief and loss, interpersonal relationship conflict, and other areas of psychological distress. He also seeks to support proactive efforts to increase psychological resilience, optimize potential and performance, and promote overall mental health and wellness.

Michael holds an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University in addition to an MA in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a BA in Sociology from UMass Lowell. He has experience working in in-patient, out-patient, and at-home settings and is currently offering sessions both in-person and via telehealth.
