Kerry MacDonald is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 25 years of experience
providing compassionate, client-centered therapy to adults navigating a wide range of life
challenges.
Kerry has a particular passion for supporting women through life transitions, such as early
motherhood, parenting, and other stages of personal and family change. She also brings deep
sensitivity and understanding to her work with individuals facing physical challenges, including
blindness and visual impairment, traumatic brain injury, and chronic illness.
Her areas of expertise include helping clients cope with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and
panic disorder. As a practicing Christian and active member of her local church, Kerry offers the
option to integrate spirituality and faith into the therapeutic process for clients who desire this
aspect or care.
She uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of evidence-based
modalities tailored to each client’s needs. Her work incorporates mindfulness and cognitive-
behavioral strategies, client-centered and humanistic principles, psychodynamic insight, and
solution-focused techniques. Her warm, supportive approach to therapy helps clients feel
heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
