Katie is a clinical counseling intern pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental
Health Counseling at Divine Mercy University. She is passionate about supporting
clients in growth and healing through compassionate, collaborative care that honors the
whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
Her clinical approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while also
incorporating elements of Emotionally Focused, Experiential, and Existential therapies.
Katie recognizes the important role that faith and spirituality can play in the healing
process and welcomes these aspects into counseling as clients desire, integrating them
thoughtfully and respectfully.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado,
with a minor in Human Services. With over eight years of experience working with
children, adolescents, and families, she brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for
each client’s unique story as she walks alongside them toward healing and meaningful
change.
