Chris completed his Master of Divinity program at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, with a specialization in pastoral care and counseling, focusing on PTSD and the integration of moral stress and injury. Chris is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University, a humanistic and existentially focused school, having attained a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology Saybrook previously.
Chris' therapeutic and academic interests are focused on the intersection of spirituality, morals, and identity. Chris has worked with adults who are interested in investigating and resolving complex relationships between their intersectional identities. Chris has primarily worked with members of the military, and LGBTQ+ individuals who struggle with things like anxiety, PTSD, and depression while they work towards more life-giving ways of being. Chris' approach is holistic, and client-centered, with extra attention to how each of us can use our inner strength to bring about transformational positive change in our lives.
Chris is a member of the LGBTQ+ community committed to providing a safe and supportive space for all people and offers sessions in English and American Sign Language.
