Bob is a licensed mental health counselor whose area of specialty is empathic engagement. He holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Eastern College and a graduate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth.

Bob teaches in graduate counseling programs at Salve Regina University and the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth and has worked in behavioral health, substance use, and social services fields for over thirty years. Bob's therapy practice includes evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy and behavior therapy.
